Toronto's Human Trafficking Awareness Day at City Hall

On May 10th, 2019, we gathered at City Hall for Toronto's 3rd annual Human Trafficking Awareness Day.

It was a very cold and windy day but our hearts were warmed by the supportive presence of the crowd! On this day, we raised our charity flag for the first time in support of the awareness and abolition of all forms of human trafficking.

Thank you so much to every single person who attended our ceremony, Counsellor James Pasternak for his address, Mayor John Tory for acknowledging the vital work that we're doing, the performers of Ao Dai Canada for their moving performances, and all of our volunteers, photographers, and videographers. Lastly, thank you Better Futures for Kids for organizing this successful event.

Let us continue to raise our voices, move the masses, and end the exploitation of all people in our liftetime!

Together, we are stronger than slavery.
