Every child on this earth deserves to be free from abuse and exploitation.
One Body Village Canada
exists to restore hope to sexually abused and exploited children in Vietnam and
Cambodia, where the resources are limited and widespread poverty, low education, cultural attitudes, and pervasive corruption perpetuate the
cycle of child sexual abuse
Inspired by One Body Village USA, we brought their mission to protect vulnerable children in Southeast Asia to Canada in 2012.
We registered as a non-profit in 2016 and received our charitable registration with Canada Revenue Agency on April 1, 2017! We proudly work in partnership with One Body Village USA to deliver our charitable activities.
We envision a world free from sexual abuse and exploitation for all children.
We improve the lives of at-risk and affected children of sexual abuse and exploitation with shelter, education, medical and behavioural care, psychological counseling and vocational training.
We combat child sexual abuse and exploitation by educating and empowering communities to be catalysts for change.

According to UNICEF, 2 million children are sexually exploited every year in the global commercial sex trade industry.
The emotional and physical trauma and unrelenting abuse and fear present a grave risk to the physical, psychological, spiritual, and social-emotional development of sexually exploited children.
We currently operate one home in Vietnam to protect our children, whether it be temporary or long-term. Our home is private and confidential and the goal is to support the timely return of the children to their families and communities when it is safe to do so.
We take a holistic approach to address the physical, psychological, social and educational needs of each child to make possible their reintegration into their families, schools, and communities. We also continue to offer our services to the children once they return to their communities.
We work in partnership with other NGOs and local organizations to provide our older children with skills and job training to enable their success in the community.
We work closely with local communities in remote regions of Vietnam and Cambodia to deliver education workshops about sexual abuse & exploitation. We also offer financial assistance and facilitate access to legal assistance to families in the community on a case-by-case basis.
Together, we can help children regain their human dignity, restore their self-esteem, realize their self-worth,
and rebuild their lives.
I miss my family but I choose OBV, because I know that with OBV, I have a future.
